Those are Muckelroy short scales
They need to stop making headless basses that make me GAS...

Yup. They're pretty big in japan, I've been collecting a bunch. I dunno if they'll catch on here, but some American artists are using them now, too.

Dean Metalman Z that was canabalized and refitted into a 3d printed project body,
A completely custom 3d printed steampunk style fretless headless (will add a more lengthy description for this guy later),
An even harder canabalized Peavy Rockbass that a friend went absolutely ham panting (and love him for doing so),
The Schecter trio of an Omen 4, Stiletto Studio 5 (my main), and Riot 5 Arora Burst (it's competition),
The newest suspect of a Hagstrom HB-8 (love the sound, still dialing it in),
The oldest suspect, a Squire MB5 with newly added Nordstrand J-Blades,
An Epiphone T-Bird Classic IV,
and finally, a Mitchell Parlor bass just hanging around.

Yes need more deets on that steampunk headless... especially the bridge tuners which look like hoop screws you can buy at Home Depot...
I just installed Hipshot Lollipop Ultralites on my Sire P7. Now the balance is perfect. I love the lollipops!!!

Bartolini pickups and 3 band preamp (NTMB)
Stacked volume/blend with push/pull for active/passive
Boost/cut mids and stacked bass/treble
Mid frequency switch (250k, 500k, 800k)
Looks like Hipshot bridge and tuners, but no name or logo on them.
This bass is a joy to play! I haven't had my hands on a 5-string in 25 years, but not too many issues playing it so far. The tones I can get out of this bass are phenomenal. Worth every penny!
