Due to the electronics, it's a somewhat unique setup. It's like the tone circuit is coupled with each pu via one V pot. It's generally dark sounding but with both pu's dimed, it has a nice warm mid-range tone.

Here's a nice demo vid I found on YouTube before buying mine.

Early 80s Ibanez Musician Bean bass

Handmade SG copy. Not made from parts but all handmade from planks of wood by myself and a buddy. Neck is hand carved by a luthier I knew.

Mid 90s MIA jazz upgraded with BA2 Bridge, vintage 62 bass lines pickups and a reranch refin

Original Daisy Rock daisy bass

All hand carved over the top tele copy made for me by a friend in florida. Everything done by hand, including the nexk, except hardware obviously.

Plays like a dream.

Thanks! It's a bass I designed/made* called the Super SLX - alder body/22 fret wenge-ebony neck, Schaller 3D bridge/internal bridge anchor/ Novak Darkstar pu/John East mid-sweep 9v pre/Sperzel locking tuners/etched brass neck and hs plate and inset Dunlop Straploks.
