View attachment 5054029 My main squeeze, “Jackie” aka The Jackson 5, who is a beautiful Jackson Dave Ellefson 5 string bass, matte black. The strap is a Red Monkey, one of three that I own. Huge fan of their straps.
Think you might have found the answer to the perennial question "What's the best bass for Metal?". Aggressive EMG's, low B, pointy headstock, matte black finish, wide flat radius, and that strap!

I think you’re right brother! It’ll kick like a mad mule that’s for sure, and looks good doing it haha. And yea I love that strap for sure. It compliments the bass very nicely!

If I walked into rehearsals one day with that bass my guitarists would bum rush me with bro hugs. LOL.

Haha I hear that!!!! My old band mates loved it when I got it. Sadly, we don’t jam anymore. Now, I have been forced to just do bass covers for YouTube and don’t get to share all this awesomeness of a bass in person with anyone haha

Schecter makes great basses! I had a Stilleto 4 years back. Wish I still did but sadly I sold it. Sigh

It's a beast. EMGs, 3-band preamp, 24 frets, great action, neck thru body, killer sustain. I call it Victor. One of my favorites to play. I've played it so much several matte areas are now high gloss. Badge of honor!

Jackie has some shiny spots now too. Usually where I rub her. Creepy I know haha. Badge of honor, war wounds, whatever they be called, it does look great when the natural progression of relicing starts happening!
