wow ... after looking at just a few pages of this thread I am feeling way less crazy, or at least way less alone.

I've got 3 electrics (2 Fenders, 1 Joe Veillette fretless 5), 2 A/E's (a Fender and an Ibanez 5) and 1 upright (an Upton gamba ply), and I thought that made me weird.

Apparently not. I have to get a camera, though, and take some pix to keep up.

Hi, I'm new to the forums. Here's a shot of my one and only bass since 1995:

Fretless ESP neck, Dimarzio J pups, cherry body of unknown origin. The tone/volume knobs are from an old Marshall amp.

I'm currently looking to enlarge my bass collection with a second member, since I need a fretted bass as well.

Cort/Elrick- Bart classics/Bart 3-band eq

Here's my group. All of them (except for the Epi LP) were acquired for $200 or less.

First Bass, now retired. PG mod and body refinish was all me. (1987 Sears Catalog, $120)

And this one, the origins of which are shrouded in mystery, I just picked up at a pawn shop yesterday for $70. (She's gonna need a little TLC.)
