Sorry for the crappy phone pics ...

Early fathers day, birthday, Christmas gift (combined) from the wife. The price was too good to pass up, and the wife agreed :) ...

$499.99 the store owner threw in the black beautie's, cleaned and polished the finger board and a quick setup. Will adjust the setup when I have the time later this week.

Hey guys,

I've been offered this Warwick Streamer Stage 1 in a trade for some guitar gear:

Does anyone know what year roughly it's from? It's got a JANII by the looks of it.

Am I right in saying it's all maple neck thru with wenge fretboard?

cheers guys!

the serial number will tell you the year it was made.
should be all maple neck thru, etc.

is that duct tape on the back end of the body?

That is duct tape. I believe this popped up in the Warwick Forums as well; Gastrok.

Any excuse to throw a pic of my bass up.

Already got a number (even though I'm not sure what it is), but this one is a much better shot than when I first started posting here (with a way worse camera).

Quick question: whom do I have to PM to get a number? :)

PM Daywalker

It can take a bit longer to get a response from Daywalker since he's not on all the time; I had the same "problem" myself, I too thought that maybe I've sent the message to the wrong person, but in the end I got my number :) So it's just the waiting game...

Thanks for the info guys! I sent him a PM a week ago and didn't get a reply, so I thought maybe I hand sent it to the wrong guy...

Yeah,...that happens. It took him a while to get back to me. I'm pretty sure he has a life outside of TB,....unlike myself,...:atoz:.

Be patient,....he'll get back to everyone that PM's him in one lump update.

@ Loopee,...you should also PM Daywalker to get on that # list.

FWIW,...I don't even know what number I have,...It's not really that important to me,...IMHO of course.

Hey gang,

I'm having some issues with my Thumb BO 2006 ltd.

Whenever I pluck or pick agressively, there is distortion. This happens in both active and passive mode. It can't be the battery, right (since it still happens while passive)?

Do you think I have a faulty component in the pre-amp? Something wrong with the pickups? EQ circuit?

It's not my other gear, as I've trouble-shot extensively. It's definitely the bass.

I'm at a loss here:bawl:

Thanks in advance,
Mr. P

Hey mate,
Your basses volume pot, when pulled only bypsses the onboard eq whle the pickups remain active & need a battery.
It sounds alot like your battery needs replacing.
Good luck.
