Warwick Dolphin Pro 2
What's the deal with this bass? I can't find any information regarding it, not even in the discontinued section @ Warwick.de. Love them Dolphins though.

Gold + black = win! :)

Looks awesome! :)

@Colonel129, congrats! Pretty sweet girl that buys a Warwick as an engagement present! Gotta tell my girl about that. ;)

I know at some point in one of the Warwick threads someone connected to the U.S. custom shop gave their contact info for anyone who needed to order parts. Does anyone have this persons info? Or if any reps from Warwick read this and can PM me the info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dana B. Goods may have a few miscellaneous things left over from where they were Warwick's U.S. distributor, but not much (I have dealt with them recently; great people to deal with). Hanser Music Group is the new U.S distributor for Warwick. I went thru Jason Murphy and ordered a lot of parts for my Warwicks and he was easy to deal with. You can reach him by e-mail at [email protected]. Hopefully that will get you anything you need. Oh yeah, have the credit card ready, you won't get anything for free; I used to get free parts from Dana B Goods reps at times (JAN'S; tuning pegs; etc.); I could be wrong but I don't think that will be happening here. I think you pretty much order the stuff straight from Germany; I don't think they keep much on hand (at least not of what I needed).

Considering upgrading a Corvette Std to a FNA Jazzman and looking at putting a two piece bridge on an older Streamer Std.

Have you been to the Warwick Forum? They have hardware and such in the classifieds. Lots of guys just switch from chrome to black, or whatever, and sell the old stuff... I would start there. As far as I know Warwick doesn't have a solid US distributor right now. It was Hanser, but not anymore... not sure why they keep getting the shaft. If you can't find any more information, send a PM to Florian over in the Warwick forum, and he can help you out.

i still can't belive it... i got an flawless thumb nt6 fretless from 2006 for 800€ - great deal imo. just wanted to share this beauty with you. but i think i will go with some bartolinis and an aguilar obp3 maybe for the future. whats your opinion?

You lucky one!

Exactly three years ago I had to pay about €1.500 for the same bass (left handed version), but mine was from 1996 (Bartolini PU's, JAN I and 7 pieces neck).
I feel lucky too.

Enjoy your baby!
