Sorry no pics yet but I joined the club in July with a purchase of a blue Rock Bass 5 string. I must say, it is the best guitar I've ever owned. I am not interested in trying anything else! This guitar does everything I want it to and sounds amazing. There are no other basses in my near future nor do I desire there to be!!!:bassist:

Man, after owning a few 'Wicks, I'm trying to get back in!!

Owned:
Thumb b/o fretless 6
Thumb n/t fretless 6, fretted 6, fretted 4 (my all time fav)
Streamer S-1 5
Fortress Masterman 5

Want:
Thumb n/t 4 (wenge neck) or Streamer 4 (wenge neck)
MAYBE Thumb fretless 5 n/t (wenge)

Oh, I forgot to mention, I may be putting this up for the right Thumb n/t 4 fretted or n/t fretless 5 (both with wenge please!)

Thanks!
I've been snooping around here for some time now, but it took this thread to get me posting.

If you mean mine, thanks. It was a 2000 Custom Shop. Harewood top ovangkol veneer and ash back. I'd really love a SSII though.

yea i meant you...i've never seen wood like that on a warwick especially...i love it

Man, I still think about the day I sold my 96 Thumb NT 4. It's the only bass I regret selling. That Wenge neck and 18V pre-amp were just awesome. Good luck finding one, we'd be happy to have you here!:D

It appears most here are on warwick.de too?

Man, that finish is beautiful! And yes, I'm sure a lot of us are on the warwick forum too. I don't go there too often though, they seem a lil uptight there.....:eyebrow:

I bought this off the World Wide Wasteland from a store here in Aus. Off a thumb nail at that, and no mention of it coming from the custom shop Their site has categories called "The Good", "The Bad" and "The Ugly" for their used instruments. This was in "The Ugly" amongst some nasty looking japanese guitars:eyebrow:

I understand what you say about the Warwick forum too.
