Hey guys, looks like WayneP is going to take over the number handing out duties for me! I will still be around of course and hope o have another Pedulla in the future. Thanks Wayne!
Happy to help!

Thanks WayneP for volunteering and thanks p0k for your tour of duty! Wayne, next time you update the list, please put me on the end. I am post 313 to this thread.

No problem! Check below for your number. Nice bass you got there, and really unique for a Pedulla! Is that the same one that was on ebay recently? Hard to believe that two of those would pop up for sale right at the same time...

By the way, when I was reviewing the Member list, I noticed that we had two people with the number 63: mitog and seamus bass (see post #322). Since mitog had number 63 first I’m re-assigning seamus as number 118. I figured that was better than shifting the count up or down and re-assigning new numbers to half the Membership!

Here are some pics of my new (used) ET5. The original owner bought it in 2008, and I think it's a 2004 or 2005 model. Mint condition!

Plays and sounds fantastic!
Beautiful bass, Russell!

Say, has anyone tried Pedulla’s strings? After reading here on TB about taper core strings I ordered a set of Pedullas for my Thunderbass, and I must say I’m not impressed. They sound very bland. I was using Ken Smith Rockmaster Mediums before.

Not on eBay to my knowledge. I bought it from a fretted TBer who in turn got it as part of a trade deal. It looks like the walnut color wings are the same light wood as the neck, but stained. I am guessing a PO did that. One of these days, I will try to get some of that stain off with the goal of matching the body and neck color. I want to keep it an oiled finish though. I like the feel of that.

My Pedulla Thunderbass causes my Mesa M9 / Uber 410 cabinet to buzz fairly loudly when I sit in front of it facing the amp. I do the same thing with my Stambaugh SC and there is no buzz. It doesn't buzz as bad when I am facing away from the amp - only when I am facing it. What do you think causes the buzzing?? Do you think the bass need to be shielded , or maybe the grounds checked? I never really noticed it with my other amps - I just got this rig (new) last weekend. It is a very powerful rig (the thing is loud on 1!) , so maybe it's more sensitive to poorly shielded basses? My Stambaugh has a 16volt preamp and the Thunderbass has a 9 volt preamp - you would think the Stammy would be the one to buzz. Just curious what you think. I'm gonna get it checked out by a bass tech in a couple days. Thanks!

I have tried the Pedulla strings and love them. Not bland at all.

The Pedullas are not going to be as aggressive as the Smiths, for sure. If that is what you are looking for...You probably will not like the Pedullas...Steel or nickel. For me, that Pedullas provided a very even response across the instrument that I was not getting with other strings on my Pedulla basses. Smith makes taper core strings too if you want the more aggressive sound. You may want to try those.

Hi guys, I'm searching for a used Pedulla 6-string with the standard narrow spacing (17mm), so if any of you is getting rid of it or if someone knows where to find a used one let me know!

I would prefer fretted basses but might consider a fretless too... MVP/Buzz (my preference), Tbass/Tbolt, etc. Six string 17mm only, both jj or soapbar configurations are ok.

Thanks!

Did you see this on ebay?
I think the spacing is adjustable.

I agree. Very even response.
