Nickel rounds on my PentaBuzz. Fender taper wounds for the fretless although I just put a set of XL 's on my new ThunderBolt 6. Really like the feel and tension but they don't ring like the taper E and B Fenders. Different bridge on the Bolt too. That might be some of it as well.

Yep, those vintage cherry bursts are beautiful - if yours has 19mm spacing, then you and I have the same model.

Mine was built in 2010 - how about yours?

I’ve seen a few of those Special Edition MVP’s and Pentabuzz’s on ebay and they’re positively stunning! And you have three of them??? Doesn’t seem fair! That first one is awesome – is it really orange, or is it just the light?

Ditto. Can't see what head he's playing through but that SWR 610 G Sr. is one of my favorite cabs I've played through.

His site lists the Aguilar TH500. But, the video description states that it was recorded in August 2010 and the TH500 wasn't released into the wild until December 2010. Unless he had one of the amps released to artists to try.

Can't join the club, but I was totally enamored with my Thunderbolt 6. It was what made me go 6 on Darth Roscoe a few years back.

Prior to my acquiring it with the original electronics, it had been routed for a P style pup in the neck, so I had Tber Peter Parker whip up a pickguard for it. I still wouldn't mind another Thunderbolt at some point.

That pick guard looks hot! Totally changes the look. Nice.

Weighs only 8.3 lbs! Has to be the best sounding bass per pound ever.
