Look like your's was Sig. 25 & mine was Sig. 26.Yep, it was a signature model. Killer bass, and so is yours. Cool pic!

I’m trying out this older PRS bass after reading lots of negative stuff online about them. It’s well built and comfortable to play. The active circuit is a bit of an enigma and that’s possibly where the negativity arises from. It seems to enhance some of the sub frequencies and apart from that the passive and active modes sound pretty similar with the exception of the active signal level boost.
I find the bass quite a good instrument otherwise if used in passive mode through my Avalon U5.I’m attaching a couple pics of the bass.

Really nice basses around here... I was looking to get an American made jazz bass but since I knew about the Kestrel I just can't get my eyes out of it... how it sounds like compared to a classic jb?
Wow, that’s a weird one; I’m really sorry to hear that. How did you figure that out?Well I figured out that only half of each pickup is working on the used Kingfisher I purchased.
Just picked up this Private Stock GG5 this week. I am looking for a ramp for it. Prs is so backed up that they can't do it. Bass plays and sounds amazing. View attachment 3642216 View attachment 3642216 View attachment 3642217
