Hey, can someone interpret these measurements copied from the PRS site for me? What is a 1.5/64''?

  • Bass side string height 1st fret: 1.5/64”
  • Treble side string height 1st fret: 1/64”
  • Bass-side string height at 12th fret: 2.5/32”
  • Treble-side string height at 12th fret: 2/32"

Hipshot ultralight tuners
Original case & case candy

Mods:
Nordstrand dual coils
Custom aluminum pickup rings.
Demeter onboard 3 band EQ, 18volt.
Pickups installed by Mike Lull.

Action is nice and low and the tone is stellar!

I honestly believe these PRS basses and particularly the core Grainger basses are a well kept secret. I really don't understand why these basses are taking such a negative attack from folks who don't own one. And the PRS guitar is equally as fine and a high quality instrument. Both are very easy to play. I'm glad I got mine before the price increase!

Lotsa folks got lotsa stuff and never jam or gig it. If the bass works, and the tone keeps you playing past the fatigue stages of rehearsal, gigs & practice, you have a good instrument.
