There is something to be said to stick to old school. Ever since I swapped to DE razors and stop doing it in the shower and actually using a cup and brush, my shaving experience has been quite enjoyable.

I hate shaving. Maybe it is because I use the cheapest no name disposable razors and am skimpy with the Barbasol even though it costs 89 cents and the same can has lasted me for ten years.

I am certain that is exactly why. Understand I have used multiple electric shavers, all the latest Gillettes to Bic to whatever. I also tried Costco 100 blades for $20 and man that sliced my face to the point I gave away the other 99.

Then one day I find myself in a knife shop in Amish country and bought a few things. Since then I changed but now use a Merker 34C with Feather blades. Was a bette shave but still not 100% happy till I switched from can crap to "Kiss My Face" shaving location. Take that plus: DE; FEATHER; MERKER34C; BRUSH; & CUP. It's an amazing shave. The only thing better is straight razor which I will not do to myself. Now going to a barber for that, I would love to do that.

Say what you want, but if your feet hurt, just put on a pair of Birkenstocks and thank me. At 43 I am done trying to look cool, and rather be comfortable.

As much as it pains me to use that term, it has become a common way to make a noun into a verb around these parts. I thought about using relict, but I dint.
