Whoever constructed today's (Thursday's) NYT crossword puzzle is a genius.

I never had a clue you like crossword puzzles. I am down with them whenever I come across one.

I like the books of easy crosswords in large print, especially when I am on a airline.

Well I didn't necessarily mean only chubby, as much as I meant inept or disheveled all the time, like Al Bundy. Just that the men are always being saved by their more competent wives. In particular I was referring to King of Queens, but both The Simpsons and Family Guy is have fat idiot husbands.

Yeah, cartoons. They could be any level of fitness, but the chubbyness is integral to a lot of the storylines - i.e. laziness and poor health. Lotta heart attack jokes. Lotta overeating and over drinking jokes. Despite the morbidity, it makes for some funny jokes.

It's interesting to note that the men who voice both of these characters are quite fit and trim.

Al Bundy was the most competent of the Bundy family.
