The Random Thought Megathread

Kids these days are not as smart about technology as they think they are.
Last night I went to get a doughnut and while in line four 20 something males see the pinball machines and one starts mouthing off about how great a player he is, "I am a pinball wizard, Jon will back me up." They all go on about how grate the game is, then after they order the loudest one puts in his money and plays a short game. After his game the number match screen comes up and his number matches, then we all hear the best sound in all of Pinball, "Squink!"
Free Game!
He panics, "What the **** was that sound. All his buddies, "Dude you broke it."
"No, that was not me. Something just went weird."
They keep denying doing anything to break something and go to a table to eat as I stare at the blinking Start Button.
About to say something to them it was my turn to order so I am now talkin' doughnuts instead, I will tell them he has a free game after I order.
Got my box and carry it to my table still eyeing the flashing Start Button, they are still denying the sound. I then decide to teach them a lesson and walk up to the machine, push the Start and play. Listening for one to say something at their table, if they did I will by them a doughnut for taking their game. I am not an animal.
My Buddy sitting at the table said that after I started they just left. Wish they stayed so I could thank him, I enjoyed the free game then sat down to enjoy my Gaybar. drool
20 somethings and younger, or those with no real Pinball Machine experience that loud "Squink!" sound is a good thing.
