Yes I am Dan, things have been insane here. After the first I'm hoping my life will settle down and get less stressful. I'm planning a DIY project that the pup will go in.

I'm with you on quirky, which is why I lust after John's green PJ and something in orange and turquoise.

Damn, that's ironic. Here I am waxing ecstatic about that bass, and there's a picture of me standing next to it. Who ended up with that one? (and where do they live?)

Also, I know I've lost weight, but you don't really realize it til you seen an older picture of yourself. Damn, I was a fatty!

I picked up the VP4 shortly after the last GTG (where you may have seen my P-Update 5). That VP4 is drop dead the best (non-acoustic) P-bass I have played.

Yeah, I played the VP5, and while it was a little too "modern" for my taste in a P, it was really, REALLY nice. I look forward to playing the 4 at the next gtg, as well as (per above pic) drinking some beers and watching josh rock out on a reverend.

Just to clarify, that is a P-Update 5 (which is supposed to sound more 'modern') and my 4-string is a Vintage Precision 4 (VP4), which is, of course, supposed to sound more vintage.
