Good point. Things could get very complicated if Bartman shows up with that Lava Swirl Houser. Everyone might end up with something in their drinks at some point. I don't think Rufies were intended for gear lust................

Had a great one here, Matt.. hope you did as well. This was our first holiday season with our newborn son, so it was extra special.
And speaking of that.. between the expenses of a new baby, the lost income with my wife now staying at home, and the fact that I won't be playing much, if at all, in the near future, there is a very good chance one of my Rumblefish will be on the block soon. Stay tuned..
I got a Squier VM '70s Jazz bass so I can finally tinker with a bass all I want (swapping parts, working on frets, etc.) without risking one of my Reverends, etc.. That way, if I break the truss rod or something, it's no big deal. I'm thinking of stripping the natural finish and doing it in a classic solid color like seafoam green or sonic blue or possibly a red transparent finish or something.
We also had our the hard wood for our floors delivered. When they're installed in a few weeks, I'll go back and shoot some nice pics of the Reverends using the new floors as a backdrop.

I am going to "assemble" a bass just for the very same reason. always wanted to learn how to solder and do set ups, just afraid of wrecking something. I bought an SX jazz neck and just sent the dough for a body. Over the next while I'll pick up the other parts and see what happens.
