For some reason mine has not yellowed... not sure why. Bought new in 1999 and is still unmodified. A product to try might be Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, which I have had excellent results from on some cleanup projects.

My '03 Moroccan Gold PJ (the instrument reviewed in BP) has yellowed wonderfully. Personally, I like it. I'm holding my hands over eyes so I won't find out how to 'fix' it. Makes driving a bitch, though. And, now that I think about it, playing.

Its endemic to USA Reverends in general... and my casual observation is that smokey environments tend to accelerate the yellowing process.

I have had success with [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] which you can find in the grocery store's cleaning section.

They are about $3 for 4 in a box and all you do is dampen them and rub on the yellow'd areas.

If its lightly yellowed, they do the trick pretty well. But for Reverends that have browned, it won't take it all off, but probably knock it back about 60% or so

It is in the same condition as it was in that review (in 2003) except for wear (in continuous use since purchased) and the day I got it, I swapped out the roundwounds that came with it for D'Addario Chromes, which I have never changed.

Ken stopped the van over at Reverend on the way to the gig yesterday. I got to spend a few minutes with the Dub King and the Justice....I really can't comment on the Dub King too much...Going from a five to a short scale four, just felt really out of place. Fit and finish were great. I thought it really should come standard with flats or tapewounds. It was heavier than I thought it would be. I've never played a hollowbody before, or really heard one in person for that matter. It was more "modern" sounding than I thought it would be, but I think that has more to do with the rounds that were on it.
The Justice....wow....The neck was amazing. I've never played an old Rev 4 banger, so I can't compare. But the neck played like butter.
I've gotten used to the Mercalli 5 neck, and I'm really started to like the neck more and more. We played at a place with a real stage and a real PA..The bass sounded FAN- FREAKIN- TASTIC. The new strings on it were the big trick.

Nope, never played your PJ. The afternoon was at the PLAV on Campau, evening was at Smalls. The bass just sounded absolutely killer there. I don't know if he'd let us swap out strings or not. He might though. I complained about the strings the first few times I played my new one. When I finally got it fully in my posession and changed strings, he admitted the strings made a difference.
