I've got those on my blue Rumblefish. Great strings, although the E went south a little sooner than I would have liked. But I think they're a great match for the bass. They really highlight its inherent snarl.I put the "new" EB Cobalts on my RL5. Whoa. Agressive and growly.

The tuxedo cases (at least mine) are not heavy duty. I have the orginal case with my XL and use it once or twice a week to haul the bass. It functions well as a case that sees back seat of the car duty, but I would not attempt much more than light, relatively protected transport.
