Doesn't look like the current images on their website have locking bridges either. Mine is a 2012 model.
Yeah, images don't have your style of bridge, but the Mercalli product page clearly mentions lock down bridges in the description:

I don't have a Mercalli (or a lockdown bridge), but I have found the support folks at Reverend were responsive and helpful on two occasions when I contacted them. You might wanna contact them and ask about it. Your photo sure doesn't look like a lockdown bridge, but they could tell you for sure.
None of the current website images have the locking bridge. Yes, give them a call. A real person will answer the phone.
Popularity. They're sold out in a lot of places. Reverend is expecting more soon from what I've heard through the grapevine. Stock can be a difficult balancing act for a small batch company.

As for the locking Mercalli bridge, here's word from Chris Zielinski, Reverend's warehouse manager:
Wow! He made that post in 2022. And here it is, almost the end of 2023, and their website still lists the lock down bridges as standard equipment in several basses. They've gotta assign somebody to update their website.

Further to this, as I said twice, I like the design idea. I understand design, and I am not looking at a single thing in lieu of the whole. In fact, the only reason I have this opinion IS because of the context - two metallic chrome knobs next to a plastic knob. I like the look of the knob (on "paper"), I just don't like the material it's made out of.
