Just joined the club with a new Mercalli 4 in Alpine. Stringed it up with a set of TI flats.

Wrt to thru body setups, I did string mine thru body. Now I'm not sure what the differences would be otherwise, I haven't tried it top saddled. But I will say that the body resonates in a way I've never experienced before and I've never played a thru body before. I can feel each note through the body. Maybe it's the thru body setup, maybe the korina body, maybe the high mass bridge, maybe the sum of it all. Who knows.

Welcome! If you're a five string player, the Mercalli is a beast in that setup too. I've got GHS precision flats on mine.

man that purple fm is sooooo nice. I love my orange cheeto one, but if they had a purple one prob would have gone with it. Or that teal blue one.... or alpine green...... or all of them haha

All of Reverend's designs are pretty sexy.

The one and only thing I don't love is the look of the pickup blend knob. I might look for something cool to put there.

After using my Decision P with the same blend knob, I can tell you the larger, textured with an indicator works very well.

Efficient when you have to dial in a P tone quickly and forget halfway during a song to change the setting.

My Decision has been may main player since geting it last year.

Yes it works well. I don't really have an issue with it aesthetically at all except it's plastic, and the other two are metal. Ideally I'd find a knob just like it but metal. Still looking.

But they're chrome. My point is the look. To me it clashes. It's an aesthetic point and I'm entitled to it lol.

The blend knob is Bold and to me part of the Rev aesthetic IMHO. It's not the single object, it's the beauty of the style as a whole. With respect to the designers.

Each saddle has an Allen screw running vertical through it. As soon as you finish your setup you can tighten the Allen screw so the saddle is locked down to the bridge. Does that make sense?

Each saddle has two Allen screws. These screws adjust the height of the saddle, which is typical for bridges. Is one screw used to adjust while the other locks?

Sorry for my lack of clarity. There is a 3rd M4 or M5 Allen screw. When tightened prevents the saddle from being adjusted from its locked position.
Does that make sense.
