Never played one. Looks too short and not enough strings for my particular taste. But it is a rev, so it's going to be good.

I really like the look of yours with the black headstock and pickguard. Kind of wish my Mercalli 5 had a pickguard, might look really good with the flamed maple top and a pearloid guard.
I just paired a Darkglass infinity with the Mercalli. OMG, I'm in bass tone heaven.

Well after a couple months wait, my 4th Reverend is here. Haven't had time to play it properly yet but I proudly present…The Basshouser Fatfish 32!
Jealous! Had one of the original models and loved it. Haven't had a chance to try out the new one yet.

On another subject -- has anybody here tried tapewound strings on their Reverend? I did a search on this thread but didn't come up with much. I've got a Reverend Raymond with the "thick brick" (that always reminds me of Jethro Tull's "Thick As A Brick" album) and the "jazz bomb" pickups. I've got GHS Precision Flats on it and I like the sound a lot. I have tapewounds on another bass, and like them a lot too. Just wondering if anyone here has "taped" a Reverend.

Thankyou! In response to your question I've never tried tapes but I had LaBella flats on my Decision P for a year and they were unbelievably good. May have to go back to them when my current set of rounds are dead!
