I don't see why you couldn't get a piece of bugeye chrome, cut to shape and apply to a 'fish. better yet, make it easy to swap out and you could put all sorts of overlays on the body. anybody ever done anything similar to a 'fish?

FWIW, I paid $650 for my 5L, and $1K shipped for my BH5, but I was desperate for that BH5 in that particular finish.

I'd take a pass; I don't think that anyone will go that high.

In a few years, though, they probably will go for that.

The guitars are nice, but mostly make me realize how much it sucks that they stopped making basses.

What they need to make is a Club King hollowbody bass. Yep. That would make some folks around here happy.
