It's about worth that much. It's a 73, but doesn't have any of the desirable features (checkerboard binding, toaster pickup, full width inlays etc).

Hard to tell, but it does look like it have the wave box grover tuners which are desirable, but not exactly good tuners.

70s 4001 generally have thinner necks if thats your thing.

Just gotta watch out how much fret life is left.

Hey he lives in my town , rather small town-if your pretty interested id check it out for you , you could paypal him and if necessary i could box/ship it up to you-but i think his price as others have said is on the money or maybe high with the replaced tuners-its also rather worn.

I dont know how low he would go on price he was originally asking 1800$

I'd like to help you out with a deal like A-Step-Towards offered, but it's an hour or hour and half away. I could keep the amp for my troubles, but I really don't need another. I'm also not any kind of expert used instrument evaluator and you have no reason to trust me, but if you're interested and can arrange payment with the seller, let me know.

I say I'm the opposite. I had a JetGlo first but I just had to get my hands on a MapleGlo. The JG is a 2001 and my MG is brand new, Sept. 2011 production. It's become my main player already.
