They are awesome. Guy started by making them in his mothers garage with a borrowed sowing machine to rubbing shoulders with major designers and celebrities in the space of a year or two.

Blake's an interesting guy. I met him a couple of years ago and learned the TOMS shoe story firsthand. This is how he invested his share of the money from winning the Amazing Race.

Toms are made in the US. As for the arch support, I found that they have great arch support. Granted, I don't have screwed up feet by any means, but the arch support was much better than I ever expected.

No..... There made in china....

Actually, they're made in several countries. Peru was the first since that's where the idea originated and it's also how Peru was chosen as the location for the first shoe drop. They try to set up manufacturing in countries where the shoe drops will occur as a way to bring sustainable businesses to developing or impoverished countries.

I have a thing for shoes as well. Clark's desert boots are my current weapon of choice.

I have 3 pairs of shoes:

Crocs - just the standard pair. I wear them 98% of the time and buy a new pair every 6 - 8 months.

Running shoes - for running

Rubber boots - for rain & snow

Oh I also have a pair of non-leather Doc Martins I rarely wear (use them as dress shoes).

It might go without saying that since I'm female, I have more shoes that you can imagine - somewhere north of 60 pairs last count, but since I'm a girl, maybe I shouldn't post about them?

Why not. Post a pic of your favorites. At our numbers, definitely not all! :-)
