What year SR800's are these? Mines got 2 normal and 2 stacked knobs, so different your what I can see of your collection. From memory I think they were discontinued not long after I got mine (2002)?

Mine were all from '87 to '92, except the one with the flames (a '98), which had the original preamp replaced with an EMG pre. The 3 band preamps with stack knobs began in mid-92.

I have a SR2000 that should be from the 90'. The one that is still with the PJ pick up. Maple body & wenge neck (neck thru) I changed both pick up & pre to EMG. The pic is not very clear. Will take better pic in my next band practice.

Great trio of SDGRs you have there!!! Have never seen that finish (SR905CNF) before, sweet!

This is all the SDGR I'm currently packing - an SR400QM. It's a Trans Lavender Burst which usually tends to be purplish but this one's more bluish than purple which I love.

Have been shopping around for another SR and if expenses allow in the next few weeks (damn medical bills!), I will be getting an SR600 in the natural finish/black hardware which is gorgeous.

Danomite, did you want a number for your contribution? Those 800s were beautiful. I actually know a guy selling one in that green color and I'm debating taking it off of his hands.

PaulNYC, Love the fret board on the mikro, very cool.

Relayer, I actually had one of the guys at Ibanez hand pick the 905 for me when I ordered it. I told him I wanted "the prettiest" on they had in Bensalem and that's what I got. All three have a little story behind them. Also, really like that trans purple quilt, there's something about that color, it looks amazing.

You won't regret it, they are really great for the money and the size. And super nice to play.

Here is my main gigging rock monster. My SRX-505.
Can't really see it to well, but it has an awesome flamed maple top with a translucent greyish/greenish finish. Plus some bad ass buckers.

Since we've now got a club going, might as well talk sound gears and pick your brains...

Can anyone recommend a pickup/pre amp replacement for me SR800? As I said earlier, I was never overly happy with the sound. I'm not sure what type of pickups are in it at the moment (although they are the originals form 2002), but it's got a 3 band EQ with mid sweep.
