Yes, she's exceptionally clean (and shiny) for a bass of her age. I did a fair amount of cleanup on her and I was surprised at how nice it turned out. I'm pretty sure the finish was done after purchase (I'm not the original owner). Regardless, this is one of the best playing 4 strings I own.

This is the serial number. That's the only place I can find any number. It's a SR3006. I'm guessing it's an earlier one. It has Ibanez pickups, not Barts. The only thing the back of the head says it's "made in Japan".
The ramp was just sitting in there. I had it lying around .
99-01 are the years for those pickups
the ramp looks like a perfect fit.

You might want to google "2BB1MR25K" for that early version of Mono Rail bridge replacement.
Yeah. I've found the part number for the complete bridge and just the saddle. Now I have to find someone selling it. Haha

I was looking forever for volume pots for my basses, because Ibanez has bespoke pots. Standard off-the-shelf pots won't fit!
The local Ibanez dealer got some for me, after sending them a photo of my basses & their serial numbers.
I think it cost me around $30 for those two volume pots & even then I had to claim it was for a repair & not really that I wanted to mod mine from Vol/Bal to Vol/Vol.

Yeah . That's the only one in the US I found. I'll call Ibanez tomorrow and see if I can get a saddle, otherwise, I may have to bite the bullet and but the whole thing.

Ibanez doesn't carry just the saddle, so I ordered the bridge from Drums Etc since ther were $13 cheaper than Ibanez. The guy from Ibanez even suggested a but it from Drums Etc.
Another bargain bin makeover - 1995 MIK SR590.
It was pretty gnarly with green corrosion all over the frets, sweat seeped inside and under all the body parts, and pitted and corroded gold hardware. Now it's my #1 for the moment. I also buffed up the unevenly worn matte finish on the body to a uniform semi-gloss.
I've come to really appreciate having the J-pickup placed closer to the bridge combined with the reversed P-pickup on those MIJ and earlier MIK P/Js. I've never heard such a snarly and punchy in-between tone. I also think the soft maple body adds a fundamental tone depth that the ash body on my SR690 doesn't quite have.
