Don't think I will. There was one on the Net for sale here a couple of years ago I and I sometimes wish I'd snapped it up.Still on the lookout for a 755... Let me know if you ever want to sell yours (doesn't sound likely)

I thought last night I had not heard from Alaskaleftiebass here for a while. I have just looked him up and he has passed on. His posts always showed what a great guy he was and whilst I never met him maybe one day we will in another place and another time. All my best with you on your journey Will.

Oh that's sad to hear. Thank you for sharing this @OutbushI thought last night I had not heard from Alaskaleftiebass here for a while. I have just looked him up and he has passed on. I don't have a massive amount of experience with a huge number of basses, never modded many, never complex mods etc; but it seems to me from that limited experience and reading too much TB that it is easier to mod a bass to sound like you want it to than it is to make an uncomfortable bass more comfortable. I'll have to do a post on the mods to mine but every time I play another bass (no matter how much I "want" it) they never feel as good as mine.
People can say it all they like but it doesn't make it true. They were good prototypes at best.People around here like to say "Leo got it right the first time"
Sad to hear. I had nothing to do with him but read his posts, but he always came across as a decent guy.I thought last night I had not heard from Alaskaleftiebass here for a while. I have just looked him up and he has passed on.
On a slightly related note, I'd often wonder what it was like when I'd be on TB midday in late February at it'd already be 47 degrees Celcius outside and I'd see a post and wonder what it must be like in Alaska, or Scandanavia, Iceland , Russia etc - big minus centregrades, I'll bet. I can't imagine what would happen to a bass if you shipped it from North West New South Wales, Australia to deepest, darkest Arctic Circle or near abouts that time of year.
I've been eyeing that same bass HARD! Love the finish. I'm really tempted to hold out for a premium model though. I'm really digging the sr1105b or the sr1345b.
I haven't been watching the SR Club for a while now because I traded away my SR1100B a few months back, but I've got the urge to get another so I opened up this thread and this was the first post I saw. What a bummerI thought last night I had not heard from Alaskaleftiebass here for a while. I have just looked him up and he has passed on.
