[Blues Bass 2]

I think my 1405e might just be the very best sounding bass I've ever owned. Those Big Singles sound fantastic, and the preamp to me is wonderful.

I just had my second practice with my band with my 1405e and was going to post the same thing ! If I can figure out how to send Carey Nordstrand an E mail I'm going to tell him the same thing too , those pickups are unbelievably clear and detailed . The bass itself plays great and that Ibanez EQ does work very well with the pickups . What a bass !

+1 for SRX lovers.

I gotta say, although I love my SR700 and bring it out any time I want to impress someone, the truth is that I play the SRX more because it fits in more different styles of music imho. I just hate the color of mine - wish I had one of those sunburst ones.

TK4261 - Sad to see you're parting with your 1200. You did some nice work on that one.


I'm just gonna go ahead and make this one requirement to get a number: PICS! obviously, we all have to own one to be in, and as with everything on the net, Pics or it never happened. lol.

On another note, I'm having pretty bad GAS for a 4 string Prestige, I'm thinking a used SR3000. We'll see way the coming weeks hold, right now it's more a matter of finding the right bass at the right price. So it's really just a waiting game for me.

The "roadster" orange is sexy as heck, no question. And the acoustic is the rather inexpensive AES10E. Plays like a dream. Can't keep my son off it when he's around.

Thanks man, however I can't take the credit for the photo. My wifes a photographer,she did something she calls "light painting" where she takes the picture in the dark and uses a small light with short bursts to paint it some how . I will take the credit for the bass
