The Spaceman Club

are you running 9v or 12v? My Saturn is my favorite low drive pedal ever, but you’ve tempted me to try and oust it.
9V so far.
I'm thinking 12V would help give it some cleaner headroom with my G&LS.

Right out the gate, it's definitely more versatile than the Saturn VI.
The Saturn is already an excellent pedal, but if you're looking for more tone-shaping abilities, the Redstone is where it's at.

Would you say the Redstone is likely to knock one of those three off my board? If so, can you say which of my current three tone options would be the one it would likely do best?
I have no experience with the FlipTop, but the tone you described is easily attainable with the Redstone. It can also do the transparent dirty boost like the Saturn.
The SV-Pre has enough of it's own flavor that I wouldn't say that it would get booted in favor of the Redstone.

Interesting take on the SV-Pre. I love it for the tone I’m getting in the role I gave it, but sometimes I wish I could get that tone with just a little more fullness and low end in it. But I can make that up with my basses so I’m still quite happy with it. However, I love the FlipTop in the role I gave it even more than I love what I’m getting from the SV-Pre. And that’s really saying something because I was previously using a Bearfoot FX Blueberry for that tone and never thought it would get bumped off my board.

Gotta think about what I want to do. I’m drooling over multiple bass-related toys right now, including two basses, and the Redstone seems to be muscling it’s way onto that list. Can’t buy ‘em all, though. :(

If you feel there's a lack of low-end "oomph", there's no shortage with the Redstone.
I haven't even hit noon with it, and it's already super fat.
Plenty of heft.

Back-read your post about the role you have for the SV-PRE.
Yup. Dirtier and brighter than how you set the Saturn VI, but with more low-end on tap.

Well, sounds like this is one I’ll want to try. Now to figure out the toy priorities….

Appreciate the input!
