Well, my ranking of the versions of the Enterprise:
1-TOS TV show Enterprise NCC-1701 (No bloody A, B, C or D) (This also includes the animated series Enterprise)
2-TOS Movie Enterprise NCC-1701 & NCC-1701-A
3-Reboot Movie Enterprise NCC-1701
4-Second TNG Enterprise from movies NCC-1701-E
5-Enterpise from Enterprise NX-01
6/7 - NCC-1701-B & NCC-1701-C
8- TNG NCC-1701-D

For Discovery, etc, I stopped watching so if it is significantly different than the TOS Enterprise--let me know.

It's about 30% different.

Sokath, his eyes open!

So, Darmok was on last night. I have to admit, though I am not a huge fan of TNG, I really like this episode. I've always thought that the universal translator was a crutch, and that each time the Enterprise ran into a new civilization, they'd run into communication problems, this episode shines in that area. This is one of maybe 5 or 6 episodes of TNG that I really like.

Preface by saying I've never been a huge trekkie & I haven't seen any of the newer ones (Enterprise, Discovery, Lower Decks, Picard, etc.) but probably the most consistently best for me was TNG.

TOS & to a lesser extent DS9 had their moments/episodes, but I could never get into any of the Voyager episodes I saw.

I wouldn’t group Enterprise with new Trek. It’s a great show. Different than the rest but definitely good. Enterprise ended in 05. New trek just started.

TNG is really the only series I like and I have lots of favorite episodes. I know that the Darmok episode is always on the list of fan favorites, but I don't like it at all.

Interesting. I normally do not like TNG, though there are maybe 5 or 6 episodes I really like. Normally, I literally have to turn it off when Wesley shows up, though there is that one episode in which he is tolerable, where everyone becomes addicted to that game, except Wesley and his new girlfriend.

Had you forgotten how annoying Wesley is?

I'm watching through for the first time and I can't wait for Roddenberry to step aside and take Wesley with him.

ha! no, I had remembered Wesley.
I am not a huge fan of his mum. Dunno what it is, but she has an attitude about her that grates on me a bit.

I also remembered Tasha Year’s exit episode quite well.

Beverly Crusher stinks. Everyone on the senior staff had something going on but her. Picard the diplomat. Riker always turning down his own command, and mounting chairs like a cowboy when he sits down. Not much there but he’s tall and chicks dig him. Data is an android. Worf is the only Klingon in Starfleet. Geordi is a genius engineer. Troi is empathic. Even Wesley is a genius. What was Beverly Crusher’s special skill? Nothing. She was pompous and whiney.
