I only came here for pictures of Counselor Deanna Troi, and all I see is a bumnch of bass-nerds talking about Picard! Come on, people! Geeeesh!
She was lovely, but her ongoing incompetence annoyed me even when I was a kid watching tng live. She's never on the bridge when her empathic powers would come in handy and when she is there, she points out the baddie's lies just as well as anyone without telepathic powers can read body language, and let's not forget she crashed the damn ship the first time they let her drive.

Pictures of Counselor Deanna Troi isn't the same as, 'things she did in Star Wars.'

I got lucky and found a super star trek loving girl 26 years ago. We love it and watch as much as we can. We both hate (yes strong word but necessary) TNG episodes with Troi's mom, and Worf's son. I wish those 2 would have a transporter accident and never return, other than that,
The two or three kid actors they had playing Alexander were horrendous. Lwaxana Troi was intolerable. Her constant sexual harassment of Picard made me uncomfortable even before I understood what that meant.

And Worf was a terrible father. Where's your Klingon honor when it comes to raising your children? Huh son of Mogh? Abandoning your child to your elderly parents who are done raising young children is the honorable thing to do? I can't stand Klingons. A bunch of hypocritical, racist, irrational thugs. They're all talk about the way of the warrior and dying in righteous battle but they're really just marauding thugs, raping and pillaging the galaxy in ships with cloaking technology allowing them to sneak up on an enemy unseen like a sneaky bully. Talking smack about the Romulans all day like they have no honor but which two major species use cloaking tech? Oh yeah. Romulans and Klingons. Klingon honor my butt.

I also do not particularly like the Klingons. I enjoyed them in the original series, and in the Deep Space 9 episodes where they brought the 3 commanders back for the blood oath along with Dax. Though, they were from the original series, so I suppose that doesn't really count. Other than that, not a fan.

And speaking of Blood Oath, how did those 3 Klingons grow forehead ridges since the original series?

Watched the SNW debut. It has a very different vibe from the other current Treks. I liked it and hope it develops into something really good.
We don't have Paramount+, but I ran into the full first episode on You Tube for free. I'm thinking it was free to entice folk to subscribe to Paramount+.

Anyway, bookmarked it, watched it the next day. Not bad. Not enough to pay money for it, but not bad at all.

I'll post the link I bookmarked, but it's now set to private and asks you sign in. For anyone who knows what the sign-in thing is about and wants to see the first episode, here's the You Tube link.:

I've been enjoying Discovery. It's a little silly, but the production values help overcoming that. I did skip the mirror universe episodes, been there done that.
They were fundamental parts of the overall story arc of the series. I think the show is hot garbage, but if you're gonna watch it you may as well take in every episode if you're gonna follow the plot, convoluted as it is, IMO, although you're obviously free to watch or not watch it how you please.
