Got a pic of the latest incarnation...

Still not in love. The 810 just sounds better in the mix. I've tried the 215 alone and the 810+215 and while the 810+215 sounds awesome by itself it still doesn't sound as good in the mix as the 810 alone. Weird. Might try to do something with the Earth and Emperor and create an A rig and B rig... One cleanish and one dirty & get an A/B box and see what happens.

According to something that made sense at the time that I vaguely remember from numerous other threads, you'll have some sort of frequency cancellation between the two different sized speakers if they are too near to each other. Try separating them on the stage.

My rig isn't as doomy as I want, but you gotta work with what you got.

Ampeg SVT-CL
Ampeg SVT-810
Aguilar AGRO
Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie B
Fuzzrocious Rat Tail coming in soon.

I want to get my Ampeg SVT-VR fixed and then use both heads to run a 610 and a 215.

Cl+810+ fuzz = doom in my book

currently trying to get a doom band together. i'm playing a gibson rd artist > ampeg svt-cl > avatar 410. really need a new cab but i can't decide on one. it's hard picking out an emperor speaker configuration when you can't hear them...preferrably one single cab that will suit my doom volume needs but not enormous.

Doing some solo stuff now. No one in my area's too interested in it. Playing a P bass and a Steinberger Spirit for it. Crybaby wah, ME-50B with my sound hold and reverb on, and a big muff for the fuzz. Playing out of a Fender Bassman 350. My rig doesn't feel big enough haha

Playing some older Sunn O))) type stuff. Haven't got recordings or a page yet though :(
