The Strymon Timeline: Damn straight, it needs it's own thread

Just a supply/shipping update in case anyone is on the fence & it's a factor: I ordered one at 3pm today & got the notice from FedEx that it was on its way by about 5pm. :D

Can't wait to get it.

Hey Kwesi (or anyone else)... now that you've had it a while, what is your absolute favorite way to use it on bass? (if you had to pick just one. or hell, i'd take a top 10 list. ;-)

Me, I'm excited to finally have a bitcrusher in my pedalboard.

Cheers, j

p.s. amos is right -- i'm pretty excited to get this patched into the patchbay at the studio (but that's what i'm into and i already use all manner of stompboxes as studio tools)... vocals, drums, etc... all the stereo-y stuff sounds so good and is a whole different thing than what you get out of it (or really any modulation effect) running it mono on a guitar or bass rig. can't wait!

thanks 'berto!

goooooooooood choice Schlyder. i love that Jean is the one that was talking about how awesome this thing was before the hype machine recognized and it blew up.... and he's the one that i've heard do the most amazing things with it. he's.... smarter about efx than me sometimes. spends a lot more time delving into and leveraging all the deeper bits. DEEPER.

but yeah. we have.... urm...... three songs? i think three songs. based around a patch from the TL that i couldn't pull off with anything else. at least not pull it off as beautifully.

ok you freaks have talked me into it, that and the many demos, it should be here in a few days.
\
however, I can't DL the manual on their website for some reason, anyone have a PDF version they could shoot me? I want to sit at the computer aghast/read up on some of the MIDI functions for a few days before it gets here

Try going to this [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], if that does't work PM me your email and I'll send you the PDF.

Been gigging with it a couple weeks now.. Pretty great!!!!

Haven't had much chance to go deep into the params but have dialed in a couple sounds that I'm using all the time. Can't wait to get this thing into the studio.

Mine arrived today.....
There is a ton 'o fun packed into this thing :D I am enjoying ICE very much.
It has everything you could want for in a delay pedal.
And the controls are very intuitive.... Very user friendly.
And on top of all that, it outputs beautiful clean sound... without any tone loss, or added noise.
Well worth the $$$

And it only took 8 days from ordering to receiving it, from USA to Canada.

That's really what I notice the most is that it is super hi-fi. Not that you can't get lo-fi out of it -- even that stuff just sounds so good.

Got an expression pedal wired up to it today. DO THIS. Seriously. Another whole added dimension of usability.
