Got my Timeline today - I think I lucked into a very short-lived "in stock" at their store last week. I need to mess around but so far it is living up to expectations. I can see that it'll take some time to explore the possibilities but I like having the presets there so I can hear things I'd never have set up.

One question - I've been fiddling with the looper (good gawd, it sounds so much better than the Boss) but am wondering if I can adjust the loop volume after the fact to balance with what I'm playing live. I tried the level but that is working on the delay patch that is active (hmm, maybe if I turn that off...). Otherwise I can always use a clean boost or just try to remember to play more softly. I would love to lose the Boss and just use the Timeline though quantize comes in handy sometimes for my spastic foot...

There is a looper volume setting but it's pretty buried as far as the normal interface goes (see the manual). MIDI contollers like the DMC ones can control it in a much more accessible way.

I've not had a lot of time with mine but MAN it is full of so much awesome. It's going to take me forever to realize half of the stuff I can do with it. One of my favourite things so far is the lo-fi delay with time set to minimum (2ms) for a real-time lo-fi machine. So many different options from sample rate reduction to telephone style filters and phonograph crackle. COOL :cool:

Has anyone compared it to the TC Nova delays? It costs twice as much so I'd assume it's at least a teensy bit more versatile/better/uber.

The TC Nova Delay was my main guy. I got an El Capistan and couldn't jive with it's inability to have a loud enough (for me) repeat when fed a lot of fuzz. I traded the Nova for the Timeline and without a doubt it sounds "better" - clean and pure, outstandingly responsive and insanely versatile. IMO.
