I agree with the sentiment, and while more thorough testing helps reduce customer complaints

and thereby increases customer satisfaction and company value, none of those things are why I do it. I didn't start building pedals because I wanted a successful business, I did it because music is important. I don't think of sales as numbers, because behind every sale is a musician. So I don't worry about repairs because of the extra work on my end, I worry that someone's gig was ruined, I worry that their tone on the recording won't be as good as they want it to be, I worry that technical issues will prevent someone's enjoyment of musical expression.
I will always appreciate everyone's concern for my wellbeing, I consider everyone here a friend and I feel like I have always been treated as such. I sincerely try to take care of myself as best I can (and my wife and kids are a big motivating factor there), but honestly I really like working on stuff. I like being busy, I like exercising my brain, I like learning and building and improving and just doing things. If nobody bought my pedals I would still be down in my basement building pedals, just not nearly as many, and I would probably get about the same amount of sleep.
