Just want to add another note on 9v vs. 12v.
At 12v the Finally will pull more current than at 9v, about 480mA @ 12v after warmup from what I measured. So if you have something like a CIOKS supply that switches from 9v 660mA to 12v 500mA, you will be running right up against the power limit for the port. If the port can't provide enough power, you may get weird hissing and squealing noises. I ran into this with my UA @ 12v, which was pulling just over 500mA and was screaming at me to lower the voltage lol.
Running at 12v with the higher current draw will also cause more load on the power supply, leaving less available power for the rest of the board.
No reason to chance noise issues and reduced capacity for no audible benefit.

No sushi for you! But pedalnetics is selling the mini di with unagi transformer so any of your existing sushi can have an xlr.
I have another DI in-flight too: a longer "stick" dimensions with a metal enclosure & a thru 1/4" jack
How much tubey goodness does the Finally impart to the signal? I understand it’s intended to be clean, but does it give weight, sparkle, change the feel, compress the signal, etc?
Lately I'm running the broughton resonant filter equalizer into the finally v2 and it's my favorite preamp ever.
WARNING: The following is anecdotal from the last 2 weeks of tracking, swapping tube DI's on my mini board, and being a noob tube roller.
Stock I would say quite a bit. I have a Finally V2 that came with the JJ ECC83S/12AX7, but have been swapping in various 12AU7 and 12AT7's to test the sound. The JJ tubes I tried (AU7 and AX7) seemed to roll off some of the high mids and highs, and compresses the signal a bit, so to my ears they sound tight and a bit "hairy", but also much less string noise. So the stock Finally definitely has some character and a bit of tone shaping to it.
I was looking for a cleaner sound for tracking so I rolled a few other 12AU7s, a Mullard reissue and a Gold Lion. Both tubes are much cleaner sounding than the JJ's, with no noticable compression. So less character, but still bringing in more low end roundness and glassy highs. The Mullards I would say have the least amount of affect on the sound, but just enough that I'd be happy with it for the end of a board where you have the tone just about dialed in and want to give it a bit "extra". I ended up sticking with the Gold Lion because even though it was a bit more expensive, it has all the clarity of the Mullard but even more "roundness" to the low end. For me, the perfect mix of character and clarity.
Would it be possible that instead of a true thru the 1/4 output also went through the transformer? I like transformers..
Nathan is already stuffing a lot in that little enclosure, likely very little to no room to squeeze in a second transformer.
Running a Lightning Boy Audio 2020S after the pedal does the trick for me. I mount it under the pedal board so I'm not sacrificing any space on the top side.
I just got one recently from @Pedalnetics and I have a Helauxy Duo Mini Pro inbound from him as well.
The Mini DI is my failsafe for the new board I just put together.
It will not; the circuit board is already wired as a regular pass thru, and after talking with Nathan, this single transformer is not designed in a way for a regular 1/4" "thru" like the 2020 does anyways

As the name (somewhat) implies, Neptunium is related to Nobelium. The XLR output of Nobelium only uses one of the tubes in the preamp, so one of my buddies dared me to do a design of that part but put it into the same size enclosure of a Finally. I decided to take it one step further and use the same film capacitors that I used on Nobelium builds, so the tone is bang on what Nobelium is giving, but in a much smaller package. I really like how this one sounds. I still need to get parts in to make a bunch of these, but yeah, planning to make a bunch of these (after I clear out my build queue for Finally v2 WBIM, which should hopefully be next week).
I don't have a price yet as I haven't built a "production" unit up yet, so details on that will come soon-ish.
