I sent you a pm as well but the inside of the glass butterfly is so good looking i thought I'd share with the group as well.
This was designed after "the fix" became standard. If there's a single diode (little black rectangle thing) in line with the power wire instead of four diodes close together, then it already has the fix. The nine smaller diodes down by the rotary switch are for routing address signals and are unrelated to the power input. That needs the power ground fix. It will help immensely.
I just thought you might have read the thread that's allYes and that's why I told you that it's designed for bass. You asked a question, I gave you an answer.
Would you like more details? Here you go: the WBIM version has the WBIM graphics and 12AU7 tube instead of a 12AX7, which means it doesn't distort as much.
Sorry……. I was sure I had this right. This was designed after "the fix" became standard. sbvt ii and grand slampegg are self explanatory but I couldn't find any info on the furthermore. Sorry I have scoured the thread but couldn't find it. What's it all about? Finally is out of stock for now, and instead of building more units to have in stock I decided to go apple picking with the family for the day then come home and watch movies. One of the main reasons I can't do this full time is that I'll have a day every now and then where I just don't feel like working. Maybe I'll feel more pedaly (an actual adjective) tomorrow.
Loads of cool stuff in the pipes though, super excited about SBVT II, Grand Slampegg, Furthermore, and a couple more things I'm working on with a couple really cool people and will have more details when things are a bit more tangible.
It's been slowly in the works for a couple years now. It's an original design clean preamp, using More as a starting point, with a three-band EQ similar to the SBVT, complete with switchable mids frequencies. Furthermore also has a variable frequency high-pass-filter, D.I. output, and headphone output with line-in.sbvt ii and grand slampegg are self explanatory but I couldn't find any info on the furthermore. So the WBIM-less enclosures are sold out? Finally is out of stock for now, and instead of building more units to have in stock I decided to go apple picking with the family for the day then come home and watch movies. Only for the moment. Sounds like he still has more of the enclosures from that batch that was accidentally missing the WBIM logo; he just hasn't sat down to assemble the guts into them and is instead enjoying a well deserved weekend off with the family. So the WBIM-less enclosures are sold out?
I am likely speaking for the class in supporting your need for a day off, mental [in]sanity and especially family time as being more important than your side hustle we enjoy so much. Enjoy your day. Finally is out of stock for now, and instead of building more units to have in stock I decided to go apple picking with the family for the day then come home and watch movies. @JackFawkes nailed it, I have about a dozen left and I have parts on hand to build the pedals up, I just haven't sat down and done it yet. I'm planning it for tonight. So the WBIM-less enclosures are sold out?
Are the enclosure sizes finalized? Curious to know how what the sizes will be for these 3.It's been slowly in the works for a couple years now. SBVT II - 145 X 121 X 39.5mm (5.7" x 4.8" x 1.6"), same as Dreamcatcher, DetectiveAre the enclosure sizes finalized? Curious to know how what the sizes will be for these 3.
found my answer from several weeks ago. is this something that can be 'upgraded' for my MORE? my guess is no, it would have to be a complete circuit swap.Depends on which version you have. Historically they've always been 1Mohm unless someone specifically requested a modification for higher. The current version with film caps and soft switching have a couple minor changes, including increasing input impedance to 5.6Mohm. I also lowered the frequency response to start tapering at 25Hz instead of 40-ish Hz because of the comments I received that it felt like a noticeable HPF.
Input impedance is a simple component swap, it's absolutely changeable without swapping the circuit board.found my answer from several weeks ago. is this something that can be 'upgraded' for my MORE? my guess is no, it would have to be a complete circuit swap.
