Rather than a stickie, what I have seen some boards do is just update it to the first post in the the thread where it is easy to see for new folks and easy to find for others. You would have to get kranahan to do that, if the first post can even still be edited. Maybe an admin could open it up for edit.

I use Duncans Tonestack Calculator all the time when I build pedals and amps, its really useful in the C2CE forum when I change from guitar to bass settings for a pedal.
What I can't see it doing is being useful in the Sushi Box forum since we don't know the values of the components in the tonestacks.
Personally I would open the pedal up and trace the components until I could work it out if I wanted to change it, but with any Sushi Pedals I buy I wont because Nathan has already done the hard work. (I would just like to know the flat setting)
To make the TSC work you need the schematic and component values so you can put the information in the calculator, and I hope Nathan keeps it a secret because people will copy his pedals otherwise. (I'm a good boy so I wont mention a certain country that cranks out clones like crazy)

If you’re looking for flat settings, search this thread for “thanksgiving”. Nathan posted a chart with the flat settings for the pedals available at that time. Maybe he can update the list for the several new offerings?

I like it, I feel like it is crisp, or maybe bright? Punchy.
So why am I selling it? I am an optical comp kinda guy and like them warm thick and gooey! I use them more for tone shaping to add some thickness.

Well I have all the tracks I need to get a sweet demo video put together, but instead of doing that I spent the last 7 1/2 hours designing an idea that popped into my brain that nobody asked for but that went from "that would be cool" to "I WILL NOT SLEEP UNTIL I HAVE THIS."

In Rick Rubin's book The Creative Act, one of his tips for creatives is to foster a willingness to drop everything else and run as far as possible with an inspiring idea when it hits. IMO there's a lot of meaningless fluff in the book, but that suggestion is one of several that are legit.

I’ve read that your most inspiring ideas will hit when you are just on the edge of falling asleep. It takes great discipline to fight that urge to go on to sleep and instead get up and write the ideas down, because you know if you go to sleep you will forget in the morning what it was.
In my younger, most creative, “take the world by storm” days , I always had a notepad and pencil sitting on my nightstand, had a few 2:00 AM ideas that made it to production from scribbling a concept down half awake that I know would have been lost had I not…
Didn't Quincy Jones say that he got the best recordings out of musicians after 2am when they were tired and unguarded? The logical part of their brain had quieted down and they were more creative.
Hi Folks! Nothing inherently "wrong" with the tube in my Finally v2 but I'm doing a board overhaul soon and figured I might ask if there are replacement tubes that you folks would recommend as upgrades to the stock tube! I'm happy o drop a bit of coin on something quality, but let's say anything over $100 isn't in my wheelhouse
One of my favorites is the good old USA-made G.E. It doesn't dethrone some of my other NOS tubes, but it's a solid tube and there are so many of them out there that you can usually find them for $20-30.
I was about to say the same thing! I have a short plate ge 12at7 in my finally and it is the sound I was looking for. In my research I found that the long plate are the more coveted but are more likely to go microphonic. I've heard good things about the sylvania 12at7 as well. Happy tube hunting!
Yup, usually sleep and money, the two things that get in the way of everything.
People ask me sometimes how I balance having a family with my otherwise busy schedule, but honestly that's the easy part. My workshop door is always open, and the kids know there is always an extra chair, a TV with netflix running, and an unlimited supply of snacks, plus they can always make an extra buck here and there helping out. I don't need perfect concentration, I'm happy to have company. If I'm working on pedals when my kids are awake, there is almost always at least one in there with me. Pedals are a big enough part of my life that it's just become a part of the whole family's life.
The tricky part is always balancing sleep with my brain.
The struggle is real. I love late night creativity, but if I try to go to sleep while my mind is chewing on something, it doesn't work very well.
I love your open-door workshop! It sounds like great family time, and it makes each pedal feel like a little bundle of fun.
JJ ECC82 / 12AU7 Preamp Vacuum Tube
The JJ 12AU7 is economical, sounds very good in the Finally V2, and reduces the gain to a point where the gain and volume controls have more usable range, at least for me.
