The newer layouts I think are a bit more tight. I used a thick/stiff guitar pick at the bass to wedge it out and get it started. Then just kinda walking it out one step at a time.
Could elaborate on this currently struggling to get the tube out on a PMLE? Tried for like 2 hours last night, and the last 20 mins and no luck
My band played an outdoor family reunion today (Good time classic rock "N" roll).
We use amps/cabs as well as in-ears.
The board ran into a Mesa Subway D-800+ (w/ 3-Subway cabs).
I ran XLR out from the amp to FOH. They had me at zero (the rig killed).
For most songs, I really liked how Finally (v1) warmed up the tone. I tend not to add a ton of grit with the Finally (although I could by increasing the gain).
One-of-these-days, I will run the DI out from the Finally at a rehearsal to hear how that sounds in the mix.

How would you describe the difference in tone from running the Finally into your stage rig vs running into the rig without the Finally in the chain?
I realise the effect may only be subtle. And I'm already sold that the Finally v3 has a variable HPF filter AND transformer driven XLR. I won't use the Finally for any actual overdrive, I get what I need from the THDI and AGS.
Oh you notice the Finally not being in the rig! The tubes just warm everything up.
As others have said, you can tube-roll to get more in the tone ballpark you're after (less OD; more OD). Or just roll down (or up) the gain / freq knobs on v3.

The passive tone stack sucks about 30db from the unencumbered output so beware. the blast!!
I once accidentally hit that little toggle for the tone stack bypass with my toe when I meant to just turn the pedal on... WHOA!

Question. I use the FInally DI, and use the Preout into the front of my amp. It's last in my chain and I always set it so that the Preout and Dry Pass are at unity gain. At our last show I had to turn the Finally way up more than usual to equal the Dry Pass output, and there was an ugly distortion. I took it out of the chain for the show because it just sounded bad.
Got it home and it was fine. We were running the whole band from a single two plug outlet and pretty long extension cords. Nothing else seemed to be affected, my other pedals and amp worked fine. Could this have still been caused by the power source? Anything else? Thanks for any input.

Sounds like you were draining that outlet with the whole band on it, it will not supply everything.
Use something narrow and flat.
I have a bunch of pocket screwdrivers, or you can also shave down something like a chopstick to have a flat end.
Wedge the 'tool' in at the bottom of the tube while you gently rock and wiggle the tube up with one hand, moving the tool to different spots.
For installing; i don't like to only push on the tube. I place my thumb on the tube socket to help support it while my finger are pushing the tube down.
We'd call that tool a spudger in the UK!
I was once asked what a spudger was for, my answer "for spudging of course"
@rereloluwa89 good luck with the tube, I think once you've done it once, you'll "get" the technique
I keep a raft of these in each toolkit. Outside, inside, desk drawers, car. Spudgers are inexpensive and invaluable. I first ran into them repairing phones but now use them seemingly for almost every project.

I’m think of putting some different tubes in my More pedal. Just wondering what might be a good fit? I have no experience of changing tubes in anything but like vintage warm sounds and play mainly Blues/Motown so that kind of warm gooey goodness with just a hair of drive/breakup.
