I've had something cheaper like a voodoo lab work great for non-More Sushi Box pedals, but the More with its higher power requirements I only use with my Cioks.

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I'm having an issue with my Sushi Box space heater, which is a fantastic pedal and it seems such a waste that it's sitting in a cupboard. It feels like it's been an ongoing thing but I've no idea if they're linked or not.
The original issue was a loss of sound which ended up being a tube issue. Tube got replaced and all worked well - around 2 months after it began to no longer power up properly with the internal LED now lighting faintly rather than steady. I tried a third tube with the same issue.
Also caused my HX one to power off and my other pedals to pulse when plugged in indicating it’s pulling too much power from PSU possibly?
I've tried removing all other pedals from the PSU so only the space heater is plugged in but it's the same result.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Shoot me a PM or an email, we'll get you sorted. It's a fairly simple circuit and there are only so many things that can go wrong, and luckily I know all of them.
So using the 1/4 inch out of my Venus Z I'm getting a really nice clean tone. Using the XLR it's overdriven even on the lowest setting. Is there a reasonable explanation why the 1/4 out and the XLR out are behaving so differently?
Are you running the 1/4" and XLR into the same device with the same input gain levels? Is the Venus Z's output distorted, or is it clipping the input of whatever it's running into?
Definitely not running into the same devices. At home I run the 1/4 out into my mustang micro for headphone practice/learning songs for church. Sundays I'm running the XLR into our IEM's and the FOH. The input gains are different because ive been turning the xlr level down to try to clean up the signal.
I'm hoping to be able to figure it out Sunday morning. I might be overdriving the IEM system?
Unfortunately the sound engineer that's been working the board usually keeps the bass volume pretty low in the mix. So it's hard to tell if the FOH signal is overdriven.
I guess I'll just have to get back to you Sunday evening with more information.

Turn the channel gain down on the board
I usually don't have access or more accurately haven't ever tried to checkout the setup fully or even have any reason to. Sunday morning the best of the 3 sound guys who are in rotation is working the board. I'm pretty hopeful we'll be able to get it sorted quickly.
That's exactly where I was leaning. The 1/4" output from Venus Z comes from the same spot in the preamp as the XLR, with the addition of a unity gain buffer. So if the 1/4" output is running clean, that means the signal to the XLR is also clean. So my guess is that the input gain level at the board is high, resulting in the Venus Z overdriving the channel at the board.

The output from the Venus Z is really hot. We dialed the input gains and got a great tone in the IEM's and FOH. I'm really happy with what I'm getting from the Venus Z. I'm gonna put my search for a Finally on hold for now. Good times!!!
There is an internal switch on the circuit board that limits the output, you may want to check which position that switch is in and try the other position. It does have a pretty hot output in general though.
We got it dialed in so I'm gonna just leave well enough alone. The Venus really adds some oomph to my tone. I'm really happy with it.
What am I missing here? My Venus Z has a volume pot right next to the XLR. Shouldn’t that be sufficient putput level control for the board?
Otherwise, where is the internal switch, and is it Mic vs Line or something?

Not sure about the mic or line question but, yes, there's a volume for the XLR. I had to turn it all the way down and adjust it up a very small amount and the level was hot. Definitely sounds great though. I asked a few pages back about whether you could adjust the input and was told there wasn't a way to do that. However, apparently, there's a way to adjust the output. Gotta ask the right question...
Lol, I meant I'm not sure what the internal output adjustment on the Venus is.
