I was actually thinking about that last night, ideally you would want a nice clean preamp to feed a DI, and this is as clean as it gets. So it would need to go into a bigger box to accommodate the DI, but I could see it happening.

So before I forget, does anyone have any better name suggestions for "A Little Dirt"? Some thoughts I had:
- Unnamed Preamp
- Nemo Preamp
- Dirty Little Pre-cret

I ordered some DI transformers a while ago, the manufacturer finally sent me an invoice, I paid it immediately, and then nothing. This was three weeks ago, so I'm actually in the process right now of requesting a refund through paypal since the company isn't responding to my emails. So I'm giving up on them and going with Jensen, which is apparently what I should have done from the beginning.But a tube DI will happen, it might happen with something Westinghouse-esque, but either way it will be a couple months down the road at least.

The tube DI Is very very intriguing for sure. I have one on my board right now that I like but it’s gigantic. If the sushi one can be smaller cheaper and awesome I would be very excited about that…

Regarding names, I've never been a fan of puns... I agree with @Vermouth, it seems to cheapen the quality a bit. It's all about marketing. Classy name denotes classy pedal.
I personally really like @LightForce104's Space Heater suggestion for the Little Dirt pedal. Because like LF mentioned, it adds warmth. "Sweater Vest" brings up quite a variety of mental images. lol
