The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

So every pedal goes through two play tests, one when the circuit board is first finished and one after it's put in the box. There are always a handful that pass the first test and fail the second due to a bad solder joint, misplaced wire, etc., and this is still the case this month. I am still planning to get everything out Monday, but 40 pedals is a lot of pedals, and that takes up a lot of space, so to clear some space I'm going to start boxing and getting shipping notices out for everything that passed the second test before I go back to the ones that didn't pass.

So a lot of people are going to start getting shipping notifications, but if you don't get yours right away DON'T PANIC (I really need to do a HHGTTG themed pedal). It will still get done, it will most likely still get done tonight, but a couple may carry into tomorrow. The ordering page on the website says that I have until the 10th of the following month to ship the batch, but I will always do everything I can to finish by the end of the month, because it's more fun that way.

Do you play basses? Do you play active basses? Do you play passive basses? Do you play with an amp and speaker cab? Do you play with just a preamp? Do you have P pickups? Do you have J pickups? Do you have P/J/Soapbar/MM pickups? Do you want a tube sound?

So as I was admiring my awesome packing tape it made me think about getting other custom swag like t-shirts and things, would anyone be interested? I know a few people that have used Teespring and they seem to go pretty well, it looks like I can set my own prices on there to choose how much profit I want to make, so I could sell them for $14 and make no profit, which is honestly fine by me because I just want a bunch of shirts for me :P

I mean, the obvious would be shipping each pedal in an assorted box of sushi. Doubles as bubble wrap

@labeledbass just brought up an excellent question I thought would be a good idea to share with everyone. After you place an order, that original order is what stays in the website's order list. If you make a change to your order, like an X upgrade, or swapping to a different pedal completely, the website still won't change it and it will still show up as the original order.

I keep a separate list that I update manually to keep track of changes, so if you email me or message me to change something, that's what gets updated, and that's what I look at when I'm ordering and building, but when your shipping confirmation email goes out it's still going to show whatever you originally ordered even if that isn't what was shipped.

Yeah I figured the same since the email was referring to the original order number, and not the upgrade order number, which seemed to be an entirely different transaction, e-commerce sites can be strange sometimes lol. Either way can't wait! Have a 1 amp port in wait :thumbsup:
