I'm going to need a better hint, I have no idea :P I've started writing things down as I think of them, but the danger of checking TB on my phone is that my phone isn't always near my whiteboard, so not everything gets written down :P

If it makes you feel any better I will be taking a break from development for a little while after this batch. Designing and prototyping is hands down my favorite part of this, but the problem with offering 200 different pedals, aside from keeping track of the logistics of building them all, is scaring people away with option overload. I don't want to stop offering anything that I have right now because I think they're all really cool, but I definitely need to slow down on adding things to the list.

haha! I don’t know sushi I could be waaaaaaaaaay off here but at one point I thought you were toying with the idea of something cabsim possibly. So many ideas get thrown around here who knows :)

Oh right, see that's the exact level of subtlety I need in a hint :P

So I still have the Gondwana boards from last month, and I haven't found any problems with the design yet, but I ordered the wrong microprocessor, and rather than make a special order for those to test it out I was waiting until I put in my February parts order to get the replacement. So it's still on the radar, but no new board for it yet.

Personally, I think that a grande-sized edition of a pedal that is undoubtedly a bit pricier, but also includes an XLR DI, ground lift switch, and maybe even a pre/post-EQ switch, would be the edition that quite a few bassists would want as their central hub. More or less, Darkglass has made a single pedal serve three markets several times over with this approach, and though I enjoy using my RNDI now, it wasn't that long ago that I only even gave a second glance to preamp pedals that contained a top-notch XLR DI output. (in fact, I sold my Le Bass strictly because the DI was 10dB noisier than I wanted)

That said, I am excite: if I go thru a Slampegg Bee Pre and mic my Ampeg 2x10 cab in parallel with DI, I will have quite a fabulous blend of tones.

Also, I've gone just direct thru the Particle Accelerator a few times with one of those weird 6-string piccolo basses with odd tunings, and it makes my apartment visible from space from the sparkliness of tone I get.

Add a headphone out, and maybe an aux in, and even more folks would beat a path to your door.

It took me a minute to get that reference. I like it, but the term spartan carries an all together different connotation than what I would consider an SVT tone.

Maybe Xerxes Bane? or just Thermopylae.

My mind goes for strange ideas. Sweet Voluptuous Temptress/ I know, it's a horrible name for a pedal, but from now on in my mind I will refer to it as the Sweet Voluptuous Temptress.

This. This. and so much This. I wouldn't mind that voltage adjustment from the Westinghouse either.
