As someone who's done hiring, this is still a better job application cover letter than I've seen in the past.@Sushi Box FX
I don’t know how/ if it would work but I’d be willing to help make pedals with you. I make simple amateur pedals for myself now as is. Also, I’m in NY, but... just putting it out there.
One Westinghouse Heater please, thankyou very much![]()
I feel like cost and power are more of an issue than reliability. I'm sure everyone knows you can't run a Sushi Box pedal on a standard Boss adapter, you need something beefier, which is why a lot of tube pedals have their own power supply (Blackstar uses a 19V adapter with theirs?) which a lot of people (myself included) don't like. Also aside from the cost of parts, which is not trivial, for a company to design a tube pedal they need an engineer/team of engineers comfortable enough to design a good product, and engineer labor is not cheap, so the company has to recoup the cost of development in the price of the pedal.
Now you'll need to add HR, tooI know the commute wouldn't be great, but if you people don't slow down with your buying I'll be hiring![]()
SpaceHouse could be a good fun crossover name and easy graphic to makeThis is an idea I actually PM'd over to Sushi. Maybe a space heater into a Westinghouse in the same enclosure with an effects loop in the middle?
Space house also sounds like some late 90s club music that I definitely would have listened to.SpaceHouse could be a good fun crossover name and easy graphic to make

I appreciate the offer, I've had people offer to help remotely, but honestly the time it takes to get things organized to send elsewhere combined with the time and cost of shipping things back and forth makes it not really worth it. I've considered having my PCBs populated and soldered up at the shop that fabricates the boards to save time, but that would take some time to set everything up, plus they don't carry all the components I need (like high voltage caps) so I would still be adding components when they showed up.@Sushi Box FX

Did I ever answer that PM? I don't distinctly remember, I apologize if not. So it's totally doable, there's no reason it couldn't happen besides my forgetfulness and tendency to be distracted easilyThis is an idea I actually PM'd over to Sushi.
