In other news, the SushiBox box also had a Dr Wattson in it. It's currently warming up from the cold snap we're in. Not sure if I'll have time to play it today, but this weekend for sure.
Are Canadian cats different from American cats? Are they nicer? I can already see yours is slimmer than mine 
I’m waiting on ups to deliver my power supply for the Wattson. Hopefully he shows up to the right house this time.

What did you end up ordering? I thought I had a One Spot, but it's actually a Godlyke PowerAll. I remember it was fairly inexpensive, and is rated to put out 2 amps at 9 volts! Should be able to string a couple Sushis together with that.

Sorry it took me so long for this, but you can thank @labeledbass for reminding me at a time when I had a spare minute
So there are two methods to do this, depending on your level of soldering and what components you have handy. Either way you're going to need to remove R16 (should say "2202" on it, 22k resistor). If you're comfortable with SMD soldering or know someone that is, you can replace this with an 0805 resistor. Otherwise you can jump a through-hole resistor (being careful not to let the leads touch anything on the board via heatshrink hose, tape, etc) between Treble pin 2 and Master pin 3. The higher the value the resistor, the lower the output level will be. I recommend something between 100k and 220k, 220k should be pretty close to half the previous output, but if you want it even lower try 330k or so.
If you want a variable adjustment I would probably recommend a 500k trimpot (no idea where you would put it though) and you can use pins 1 and 2 of the trimpot wired to the Treble and Master pins indicated in the picture.
Hope this helps someone, and if you're not comfortable doing it yourself I can absolutely do it for you, I would just ask you to pay for shipping.

Happily trending in my own peculiar direction.
So if we did this vari-mod, does the resistor stay in-place as-is? Or should it be replaced with a wire?

Resistor gets pulled no matter what.
Sorry I should explain better, 0805 is the size, not the value. So you will want a 0805 220k (or 100k, etc) resistor. This would be a good one if you're looking on Digikey: Invalid Link Removed
A 220k resistor should (in theory) give you about half (60%) of the original output level.

I figured I was gonna accidentally desolder r16 anyway so that’s actually a plus

). I also assume I will find the same components in the old side jacks version. I will try 20k for 60%, hoping that will bring unity back into the frame 
Did you move that cap? mine looks different, guess it shouldn't matter. I was thinking about a trim or pot but you would basically have 2 volumes then correct? the mod would be a multiplier for the stock pot right? I may just stick with a switch, or one with 3 choices maybe.. this is just changing the volume after everything EQ right, this shouldn't effect the character or "performance" for lack of better words
I used a different cap in some versions, the newest versions have the pot in a different place altogether.
If you're using a trimpot you'll only be using two of the pins so you're using it as a variable resistor instead of a potentiometer.
Can this mod be requested for the upcoming builds? I have a Dr. W coming (I think its a Feb build.) Save on shipping! I know I am not actually going to use this in a traditional preamp way, but as a flavor to an existing chain.
