This also means I don't have to choose the LED color while I'm assembling the tube board, I can have a bunch of tube boards made and ready to go then add the LED last, which I much prefer. I would just have to add pads for the LED right here:

what is the input impedance on the vampire slayer? and is it customizable? effectrode i believe gives the option of either 5 or 10 mega ohm if you call them.
also, what's the chance of a vampire slayer with 10megohm input impdeance with an adjustable High Pass Filter like the fdeck except tube based?
(i play upright bass and the high input impedance is good for piezo pickups, and the HPF.)

Input impedance on Vampire Slayer is right around 1MΩ, just like the stock Glass A. I could do it up to 10MΩ input impedance without making any drastic changes to the circuit, but adding the HPF would make it a completely different circuit. I am considering a tube-based HPF in the near future, but I haven't started actively working on it yet.

could you make it a tube based hpf / buffer? so that can be the first thing i plug into? i use the broughton lpf/hpf like this. i have the modded 10 megohm input.

That was basically my plan, have a buffered input on it, but it's impossible to make a lossless passive filter so I would need recovery gain to make up for the filter loss, so it won't be a straight buffer, there will be a gainstage.

Sounds like a winner to me! I like things like that because then I can use my upright Bass with any amp that gets thrown at me. And I already have the broughton, which as you mention has a ton of gain, but a tube version would be nice. Then plug that into the slampeg.....

Alright, I got all the tubes installed on the boards for Westinghouses for the April batch, so I'm all set to finish everything up, but it's after midnight and I have an 8:30AM meeting that I'm in charge of, so I need to get to bed. I should be able to finish all the Westinghouses and get all the remaining pedals shipped out Wednesday, so if you're still waiting for a shipping notice, it will be there soon.

I have a May slot for a Model T Sunday Driver.Of course my order# is somewhere in cyberspace as I didn't think to put it somewhere safe, typical of me.Anyway should I expect a email sometime this month? I know you have bigger fish to fry and I will continue to wait patiently if so.

I haven't started the May batch yet as I'm finishing up April still (should be done tonight), but I expect to have the May batch done by June 1st, barring unforeseen circumstances.
