Space Heater is gorgeous. How about an upgrade for having the rest of the box sprayed the same base sparkle colour?
Also Vampire Slayer as a name for a buffer is the best pedal name yet IMO.
Normally I’d never be very concerned with how a pedal looks but the graphics on the scenic ones are outstanding ! Kudos to the Senor ‘s great tasty choices for these new cases . I’m in love with the LU pic in particular but all of them really rock ...... Kelly
The whole box is sprayed with a sparkly clear coat, but the sparkles don't show up as well on a light background as they do on a dark one. All the full color boxes I've done so far have had a sparkle coat, but I have three difference ones with various colors and amounts of sparkles. The one I used on Space Heater and Westinghouse (chameleon sapphire teal) is by far the most sparkle-saturated. The one on LU, SD, LR, and DrW (Chicago lights) is similar color but the sparkles are smaller so it's more subtle. The one on Vampire Slayer (fire lights) is more red/gold oriented and is medium size sparkles so more subtle than chameleon sapphire teal, but less subtle than Chicago lights.

I keep trying to slow down and stop working on new things, but working on new things is my favorite part 
And also I should clarify I'm not planning to offer the different sparkle coats as options to choose from, what you get will be whatever I choose for the month. I've just been trying out a couple different ones to decide which one I like best.
Thanks for the explanation. I think what I meant to ask was whether there's a way, in the case of SH, to have (mainly) dark top AND dark sides too. But I'm guessing not.
So I have had someone ask for a color print on matte black, and I told them I would try it to see if it would work. I panned to do it last night but ran out of time (as I always do). I'll try it out and let everyone know

So how do you recommend I implement the through hole resistor mod with the old Dr Wattson? It’s much more crowded than with the top jack version...
Also, is it a problem using carbon based resistors (5% tolerance) or should I get better metal based ones (1%)?

I took mine completely apart to make it easier to do until I got to the point of putting the resistors in. Then I put it back together because of the ribbon cable.
if the resistors aren’t long enough:
Desolder the wires. Cut the wires and solder the ends of the resistors to the wires. So basically wire->resistor->wire. I would do that with both. Then put some heat shrink tube around the exposed wires and resistors. Then just solder the wires where they need to go.
the resistors are probably long enough though.

Thanks! Yes I think they will be long enough but was worried about isolating properly in the crowded area. How about resistor quality?
You could cover them with electrical tape if you like. Doesn’t have to be pretty. Just something to block it from touching the jacks and such.
carbon would work fine. You can use a multimeter and test how close to the value they are. I wouldn’t really worry about it if that’s all I had on hand. If I was ordering some I would get metal.

I’ll take another look but all I recall is a black and white version with a light bulb graphic - nothing super sexy like the most recent pics Nathan put up of the Vampire Slayer , LU etc ..... But it is not going to deter me if it isn’t as pretty though since I want one as soon as I can pony up the cash ..... Kelly
