So on an unrelated note (we can table the customization discussion for later), I usually don't work on pedals until my kids are in bed, but today after dinner I felt really strongly that I needed to work on stuff. So I came down to the basement and found this:

Apparently the sump under my house filled up and the pump didn't come on like it's supposed to, so it overflowed into the mechanical room/workshop. Fortunately the floor isn't completely level so the water ran away from the workbenches and nothing was damaged, though some of our newly hung drywall gor a little wet.
I have a spare pump from my laser that I threw down into the sump and am pumping water into buckets, then when it's under control i can pull the pump up and see what's going on. Hopefully this doesn't take all night and I can still get pedal work done
