Lol, I sing it's praise every chance I get. It's magic in a box and if I could only have a single pedal that would be it.
The Fluffy Kitten has some serious claws. Should have called it Murder Mittens instead.
At lower gain settings, the low end is kind of anemic, but crank the gain to around 3 o’clock, and the low end gets pretty full, and it really roars.

Ordered a Sashimi Fuzz today. It was in stock on the site.
I've been going back and forth on this. I love my Dr. Wattson. It's the Susi Box that beat out the LU, the PA, and the UA. It's use on my board has become a first in line boost, without really employing the tone stack. That position is going to be replaced by the HW Space Heater. I know I've gotten e few requests about my Dr Wattson on this thread, but I can't remember who I've talked to. So, before I list it for the general population, I thought I'd let this thread get the jump on it. It's white with the standard art work. Pristine condition. If you raealy need a photo, I can jump through that hoop. Not lookin' to gouge anybody. The only advantage I can offer is not having to wait until March to get your pedal. Asking $210. Conus shipping included.
I have a 1st gen SH and a UA on loan,
And with the tonestack set "flat", I have a hard time telling the difference between them.
The SH is a great boost and "sweetener"

Yes, it would be great to make a comparative demo, i'd like to hear if it makes a significant or subtle difference (I ordered the HWSH but I don't have the original one to compare).
Also useful to know when Nathan will propose a hand wired option for other pedals (is it worth the extra cost?)
Not gonna do any sort of demo, but I'll say that whatever subtleties were there, I couldn't hear.

Whoops, I misread that as a UA/SH comparison.
I mentioned to @Sushi Box FX about doing an updated version of the Underground Accelerator, with a tonestack bypass, so you could essentially have a SH/UA combo in one.

The OGSH is freaking LOUD!
I know Señor Sushi updated the SH with a trim pot to adjust overall output.
The Señor mentioned that the HW uses different, and larger value components, and runs at a higher voltage.
He said the tonal difference is it (HW) sounds "bigger".
I'll report back with my findings.

I wanted to get in on the January batch, but had already spent enough on other pedals. And the January batch sold out.
Then, a very generous Christmas bonus from work showed up, and I was subsequently drawn for the Hand-wired Space Heater, which I was able to purchase.

I'm wondering about running the HWSH by itself as a preamp. I'm digging a couple of Dark Star equipped basses DI'd or with a PA x with the tone controls dimed. HWSH might be just the ticket for those two basses.
PSA: I’ve been running the Smoke Signal, Blue channel, gain at 2 o’clock, Bass and mid maxed, treble at noon, and it’s compelling. But then I follow that with an SV-pre, and together it’s freakin magical. I can’t take myself away. Everything sounds amazing, whether in front, or in between these two. It makes me crave a jam, I must share this. Somebody else needs to hear/feel/grok this tone.
Sorry I've been kind of AWOL here, it's weird that the days I spent the most time checking in here are the days I go to work 
I got a few messages today, I'll answer them tonight before I go to bed. But in the meantime, some handwired SH news:
I just finished assembly on all of the HWSH and am in the process of testing them, so far zero have failed. As I've been going through I've noticed a handful (5) have some thin spots on their powdercoat that doesn't look great. It's not huge, some people probably wouldn't notice, but I'm trying to hold myself to a higher standard, especially on special edition stuff, so I will be gutting those after test to touch up the powdercoat. As such I will try to get shipping out for the ones that have a good coat, and there will be a delay on those that I need to touch up. I plan to work on these tomorrow and finish them up as I want to spend new year's eve not building pedals.
So anyway, sneak peak before I get these up on instagram:

Also before I forget, I just took a current measurement on HWSH and it still pulls around 500mA on warmup and settles down to 380mA at steady state. B+ voltage on the unit I tested measures 363V.
