I think the Broughton stuff is all very good. And because they are good, people buy them. And they buy them so much that they are hard to find. I don’t think it’s a fair characterization to just imply that it’s popular because it says Broughton. Broughton has been around for many years and gained in popularity because his stuff is unique, well made, fairly priced, and consistent. Let’s not throw stones at other manufacturers. I have two pedals on order from Mr. Sushi Box. I also have about 5 pedals from Mr. Broughton. I think they both scratch a lot of itches and they garner a lot of attention because the builders are active on TB and their designs are unique. Let’s not disparage one for the other. There is plenty of disposable income to go around.
Then you're not buying enough pedals if you still have some income to throw around.
I don't think the intention was to put down Broughton. Broughton has a reputation that he has 100% earned, there is no undeserved hype associated with the name. I think he was pointing out that I don't have that reputation yet, I'm still working on building it, but that I'm heading in the right direction. I've never met anyone with anything but praise for Broughton pedals.

To move my LA-1A off my main board and use a smaller format (and quite possibly improved) version would allow me to get that one pedal I want on my main board on there.Well currently you have as much info on it as I do

Really digging what you are doing, and it is great to see you ramping up again now your house move is completed. I am loving my Particle Accelerator (esp in my IEM set up), and can see myself getting a Slaampeg at some point also.

I guess I can give a couple predictions for it based on what I'm planning. It will most likely be in a Hammond 1590BB form factor, it will of course have top-jacks, and it will have the same power supply as my current multi-tube pedals, which means it will accept anything from 9-15V input (16V is where it might explode) and will likely draw about 1200mA or so when it's fully warmed up. I still like the idea of the gain reduction indicator, so if I'm going for mini tubes I should be able to put it in there with the smaller enclosure.I would feel really cool if it did, but honestly if it goes past 6 months I'm going to start offering more slots. I've been keeping track of how much time I spend on average per pedal in November, so I'm going to have a look at those numbers when I'm finished with the batch (which should be next week) and I may start adjusting sooner.I’m really looking forward to my pedals from you and it wouldn’t surprise me to see your pedal Builds being sold out a year in advance. Also part of my time measurement has been taking video of each stage of the process, so when I'm done I'm going to put it all together in a time lapse so you can see in detail how a Sushi Box pedal is made

How badly do I want a Deep Dish? My shelf is already pretty plentiful with nice compressors. Is it really something special?
I mean it's my take on the LA-1A, so I can tell you how badly I want three of them, but only you can decide how badly you want it
hopefully the prototype works great and I can get some demos recorded for it soon.
Shouldn’t nice compressors be on your board and not on a shelf?

Maybe i'm not the first to ask, and pretty sure the option was there and it got removed.
Is there an option to get the power and in/out jack's mounted on the top rear position instead of the sides ?
I think we are loosing so much real estate on pedal boards with side connectors...
